While in Rome, we stayed three nights at the Lux appartamenti. After staying for three nights in early August, we have only good things to say about the Lux Appartamenti. When we arrived we were given lots of helpful information about the immediate area. Opening hours of grocery stores, bus and tram stops etc. The Lux Appartementi i would say is located just outside the city centre, and it is easy getting around with one bus line going to Coliseum and Trastevere. Another one going to the Vatican. And a bus line and a tram line both going to the Termini station. The apartment we stayed in was very clean, and spacious enough for the four of us with a sofa bed in the livingroom, and a seperate bedroom containing a double bed. The apartment also had a washer/dryer, wich was a sight for sore eyes after ten days on the road in southern Italy. This and other amenities such as a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave oven and a dishwasher, made our stay in Rome a lot more comfertable than if we had stayed in a hotel.
