We had a 3 night stay at Lux in end of June 2013. We were a family of 8 with children 18, 11, and 9 , and two elderly grandparents. This was our first time to Rome. We didn’t know the best areas and hotels to stay in. My brother-in-law had done some research and asked we look into Lux, although he’d never stayed there. Lux was a very pleasant surprise. We got two apartments. They were clean, everything was modern and nice. Everyone enjoyed staying here. Overall, our stay at Lux was great. I don’t have any other hotel stay in Rome to compare to. However, from what I’ve heard and read, hotel rooms tend to be small, are expensive, may be not in the best, safe and quiet areas. Considering that, Lux was excellent and a great value. We had a very comfortable stay in a modern apartment, access to transportation to go sightseeing and helpful Lux staff (Maria Laura, Francesa and Ihab).
